Calcium is the most important inorganic element for people because our body requires it in a very large amount. In the right proportions calcium gives us strong teeth and bones, good muscles and elastic skin, nerves of steel, rhythmic heartbeat, straight posture, a clear mind and healthy internal organs. This mineral helps transmit nerve impulses from one body part to another. Without calcium, we wouldn’t be able to pull back a hand from the hot plate, or feel the taste of food. When the calcium level decreases in the blood, the person becomes nervous, irritable, easily depressed. It is ascertained that the lack of calcium is more common in girls, so the female body’s need of calcium is greater than the need of a male’s body. Lack of calcium is very dangerous for children. In the nervous, with a belated development, challenging children calcium deficiency is found very frequently, and they change miraculously when the deficit is filled on time.
Vitamin D is the main function of this vitamin; it participates in the metabolism of calcium and phosphorus in the body. It is needed for absorption of these minerals from the intestine and their uptake in the bone tissue. Also its function is important for the pH level in the blood, which in return affects the uptake and output of calcium from the bone tissue. In addition, it regulates the level of amino acids in the blood so that the surplus of them would not exude through the kidneys.
Deficiency of this vitamin in children leads to rickets. Osteoporosis, osteomalacia and hopocalcemia occurs in adults with inadequate intake of vitamin D. In the body, vitamin D is formed by sunlight.
This formula contains vitamin D from natural fish oil. Calcium with vitamin D also has anticancer properties. Vitamin D is indicated for the treatment of immune disorders, including psoriasis. A low level of vitamin D is associated with high blood pressure. Vitamin D is absolutely essential for dissolving the calcium in the body, which is a sort of regulator of calcium-phosphorus balance in the body.
